Airth Pilot Test Well
The first pilot test of the Coal Bed Methane resource is being conducted in the area of Airth within the Falkirk Local Authority area. The pilot test of the coals located in this area is the most extensive appraisal test of UK coals conducted to date. |

Bandeath Appraisal Well
The Bandeath Appraisal Well was drilled on the former MOD ordnance storage facility adjacent to the River Forth and forms part of Composite Energy's 4 well appraisal programme. The site is located within the Stirling Council area and was drilled using the G55 drilling rig. |

Longannet Appraisal Well
In early 2007 Composite Energy drilled an appraisal well located within the Longannet Power Station complex; the site is within the Fife Council area and was drilled using the G55 drilling rig. |

Meadowhill Appraisal Well
The Meadowhill Appraisal Well was drilled on a former opencast coal mine operations yard, in the north east corner of the licence area and forms part of Composite Energy's 4 well appraisal programme, within Clackmannanshire Council area. The well was drilled using both the G55 and HH102 drilling rigs. |
