CO2 Storage Project CO2 Storage Project
The company announced in March 2007 the start of a CO2 storage project to evaluate the potential of using flue-gas injection as part of enhancing methane recovery. The project is co-funded by BG Group, Scottish Power and The Royal Bank of Scotland, with Strathclyde University, Glasgow and Imperial College London undertaking the evaluation.
PEDL 133 (Petroleum Exploration Development License) PEDL 133 (Petroleum Exploration Development License)
Composite Energy currently holds and operates a 49 per cent interest in PEDL 133, located in Central Scotland. The licence area is 500km² and incorporates the Kincardine Coal Basin; Stirling, Clackmannanshire, Perth & Kinross, Fife, Falkirk and West Lothian councils cover the spread of the licence.
