Malcolm Greener Appointed Managing Director of Geometric Drilling Composite Energy Limited, the Scottish-based specialist in the extraction of natural gas from deep coal seams, has appointed Malcolm Greener as Managing Director of its wholly owned drilling subsidiary, Geometric Drilling Limited. Geometric Drilling operates three modern land drilling rigs and associated crews on behalf of Composite Energy and third parties. Geometric Drilling is most active driller in the UK having drilled 16 wells in the last 18 months. |

Composite Energy Orders Third Onshore Drilling Rig for UK Operations Composite Energy Limited, the Scottish based specialist in the extraction of methane from deep coal seams has placed an order with Drillmec, S.p.A of Italy, for a third land drilling rig. Delivery of the Drillmec HH102 rig, to be utilised on Composite Energy's own drilling activities, is anticipated to be ready for UK operations in the 4th Quarter of 2008. |

Composite Energy Awarded UK Onshore Exploration Licences Composite Energy Limited, the Stirling based specialist in the extraction of methane from deep coal seams is delighted to announce that it has been awarded 21 licence blocks in the 13th UK onshore licensing round. As part of the licence conditions Composite Energy has committed to drill 22 wells. |
